The Jordan 1 Mid PS "Day of the Dead" is the preschool sizing of Michael Jordan's first signature shoe that honors Dia de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday that celebrates the spirit of those who have passed away. The colorful shoe was released by Jordan Brand in Fall 2020 and features a white, University Gold, and wine color block in reference to the traditional altars used by loved ones of the deceased during the cultural holiday. The word "Familia" is inscribed in gold text on the wine colored toe cap. The same purplish hue can be found on the leather paneling of the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. A wine-stitched University Gold Swoosh with intentional cracking resembles the yellow cracked leather collar. A yellow leather "Wings" logo can be found on the collar and a yellow tag unique to the "Day of the Dead" colorway is stitched onto the tongue. Release date: October 15, 2020.
