The Air Jordan 1 Mid GS "Shattered Backboard" is the youth sizing of the mid-top Jordan 1 featuring the coveted "SBB" color scheme. Inspired by an overseas exhibition game in 1985 in which Michael Jordan broke the backboard following a monsterous slam dunk, the "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 1 has gained popularity as one of the best non-OG colorways in the lineage of Jordan 1 releases. The upper includes a tumbled white leather base with contrasting black leather Swooshes and a Starfish orange leather heel and ankle collar. Black nubuck overlays as well as a black nylon tongue, laces, and wings logo on the ankle complete the look of the upper. Below, a white rubber midsole with a black outsole round out the look of the design. The grade school sizing of the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Shattered Backboard" was released in Summer 2019.
