The Air Jordan 8 "Air Raid" is a special colorway of the Michael Jordan's eighth signature shoe that is inspired by the Nike Air Raid II. The Air Jordan 8 borrowing the Air Raid II's color scheme is fitting, as the two shoes share design details, most notably the crossing straps across the upper. Both models were also designed by legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield. The "Air Raid" Jordan 8 colorway features a black nubuck upper with ballistic nylon panels and multicolor accents throughout the shoe inspired by the "Peace" colorway of the Air Raid II. The Air Jordan 8 "Air Raid" released in December 2018.
