The Air Jordan 1 Mid "Oakland" features a color scheme that calls to mind the Oakland Athletics baseball team. In no way a collaborative effort between the major league baseball team and Jordan Brand, the color scheme of this design nonetheless mirrors that of the Athletics' team uniform colors. The upper features white leather detailing on the perforated toe, mid-panel, and collar overlay. Contrasting black nylon paneling can be found on the forefoot, eyelets, and Swoosh branding on either side. A black nylon tongue with Laser Orange exposed stitching on the top and Jumpman insignia on the tongue tag add to the unique appearance of this Jordan 1 Mid. Green suede is located around the collar. An additional patch of suede, this time in a washed orange hue, dots the lower heel.
