The Nike Air Max BW "White/Persian Violet" is a modern spin on the original colorway of the retro Air Max running shoe designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1991. From March 2022, the "White/Persian Violet" was released one year after the Air Max BW (Big Window) celebrated its 30-year anniversary, and is a flip of the model's original "Persian Violet" colorway. The "White/Persian Violet" remains true to the "Persian Violet" in many regards, but adds more areas of white for an updated look. White mesh appears on the base and tonal felt and leather overlays are found throughout the design. A Persian Violet Swoosh graces both sides. The Air Max BW gets its name from the large "big window" Air Max unit in the midsole. Release date: March 9, 2022
