The Women's Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka "Yellow Strike" is a women's version of the popular lifestyle shoe with a modern design that nods to underground rave culture. The decidedly contemporary Air Force 1 Fontanka for women draws inspiration from a particular subculture: ideas and art of post-Soviet Union Russia. Specifically, the shoe features a white "cassette tape" in the Yellow Strike rubber midsole as a shout out to the St. Petersburg rave scene. Elsewhere, the shoe has a combination of monochromatic Yellow Strike and Lemon Twist-colored leather panels on its upper. The raised leather eyelet panels, Swoosh, and heel tab are a nod to the look of Sacai and Nike's various sneaker collaborations. Three small embroidered Swooshes in red, blue, and green on the yellow leather tongue.
