The Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 "Mellow" is a collaboration between the Boston based sneaker boutique and Nike on the vintage running shoe in a colorway inspired by 1960s and 1970s youth culture. The "Mellow" colorway draws favorably from the era's music festivals, specifically the '69 Harlem Cultural Festival, which was headlined by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, and many more. The unique fashion worn by the festival's headlining acts and concert goers informs the eye-catching bandana, cowhide, denim, and woven materials found on the "Mellow's" design. Velvet accenting, frayed edges, and a multicolor Swoosh accentuate the shoe's "flower power" design ethos. Release date: March 5, 2022
