The New Balance 996 "Grey Day" is a timeless and versatile colorway of the retro running shoe that was originally released in 1988. New Balance's "Grey Day" is an annual celebration of its classic grey color story. In 2023, the Boston shoe company brought back its 996 model in a clean "Grey Day" colorway in celebration of both the event and the shoe's anticipated return. The shoe is complete with a grey mesh base with tonal suede overlays. A reflective silver "N" logo appears on the sides. White laces are layered over the grey mesh tongue.
