The New Balance 990 V2 Made in USA "Navy" is a blue-based colorway of the lifestyle shoe from the collaboration between Teddy Santis and New Balance. In 2021, Santis was named the Creative Director of New Balance's Made in the USA line after his successful and wildly popular collaborations with the footwear company through his Aimé Leon Dore clothing brand over the years. He released his debut solo collection with New Balance in April 2022. The "Navy" 990 V2 Made in USA colorway features navy pig suede overlays atop a light blue mesh base. Grey suede overlays are found on the forefoot and heel. A silver "N" logo appears on both sides of the shoe. The cream-colored rubber midsole gives the shoe a throwback-inspired appearance.
