The Bricks & Wood x New Balance 57/40 is a collaboration between the South-Central Los Angeles based streetwear brand and New Balance on the retro-modern lifestyle shoe. Inspired by the New Balance 574, the 57/40 updates the silhouette with retro-inspired finishes. Bricks & Wood adds a premium flair to the shoe that includes hairy Forest Green suede panels on the forefoot, eyelets, and heel. Tonal mesh and leather can be found on the toe and mid-panel, respectively. A cream leather "N" resides on either side of the shoe and dual "NB" and "Bricks and Wood" branding is embroidered on the green suede tongue. Forest Green laces with reflective detailing appear on the tongue and a reflective silver panel on the heel tab shines when exposed to light in the dark. The layered pre-yellowed rubber midsole is stacked on top of a white midsole for a retro-future look. Release date: June 4, 2021
