The New Balance 2002R "Refined Future - Grey" is a grey-based colorway of classic running and lifestyle shoe that alters its design with a pre-distressed look. New Balance's "Refined Future Pack" of 2002R colorways is similar to the "Protection Pack" of 2002Rs in that the series updates the shoe's design with a deconstructed look. Specifically, the "Refined Future" design features a weathered appearance with frayed overlays that suggest prolonged wear. The shoe's base is designed in grey, as are the suede overlays throughout. A tonal "N" logo appears on both sides. Scuff marks appear on the shoe's ABZORB cushioned midsole.
