The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002R "Peace be the Journey" is a high-profile collaboration between the Vice President of Versace's footwear campaign and the Boston based sneaker brand on the classic performance running shoe. The 2002R debuted in 2010 and was brought back by New Balance with modern performance updates years later. On the "Peace be the Journey," New Balance recruits Salehe Bembury for his take on the technical running shoe and it doesn't disappoint. The vibrant orange colorway is inspired by morning hikes around Arizona's Antelope Valley. Open yellow mesh forms the base of the shoe. Hairy orange suede overlays and maroon nubuck panels combine to create an earthy appearance. Blue shearling graces the "N" branding found on either side. A white midsole with speckling sits above the red rubber outsole. Release date: October 23, 2020
