The New Balance 2002R "Phantom" is a neutral based colorway of the casual lifestyle shoe that features modern footwear technology and classic styling. In spite of its 2002R product name, this popular model by New Balance didn't release in 2002, but in 2010 when it debuted in the brand's 1000 collection of performance running shoes. As far as its design, the upper features a Phantom, or black, mesh base with tonal suede overlays. Both the toe and the collar feature grey leather overlays. A silver "N" logo with white trim is found on either side of the shoe. The ABZORB cushioned midsole is painted in a cream hue for a vintage look.
