The New Balance 1906R "Protection Pack - Black/Silver Metallic/Crimson" is a mostly monochromatic black colorway of the casual shoe. Debuted back in 2010, the 1906R's design is inspired by retro running shoes from the early 2000s. On the "Black/Silver Metallic/Crimson" colorway, the model undergoes an almost all-black redesign. The shoe features a black mesh base with "ripped" tonal leather overlays throughout. The "N" branding on the sides has been colored in black to give the shoe a shadowy look, as has the black plastic heel counter that helps stabilize the wearer's foot. Underfoot, the shoe is mounted on an "N-ERGY" foam sole. Release date: July 22, 2023
