The Air Jordan 5 "Fresh Prince" is a special edition of the iconic "Grape" colorway that was created to celebrate Will Smith's 50th birthday in 2018. Smith's character on the beloved television show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" famously wore the Air Jordan 5 in early episodes without shoelaces. As a reference to that style, these Jordan 5s are designed to be worn without shoelaces and are constructed without lace eyelets. Other "Fresh Prince" details include "West Philadelphia" embossed onto each tongue, OG Nike Air branding on each heel, and graphic insoles that have "Air Jordan" printed on them in a Fresh Prince-style graffiti font. The Air Jordan 5 "Fresh Prince" released in limited quantities in September 2018.
