The Air Jordan 2 GS "Italy" is the youth sizing of Michael Jordan's second signature shoe inspired by its Italian-made roots. The original Air Jordan 2 from 1987 was manufactured in Italy and is considered to be the first "Luxury" basketball sneaker. The "Italy" AKA "Origins" Air Jordan 2 is similar to the design of the model's original "White/Red" colorway, but with added green detailing to represent the colors of the Italian flag. Specifically, the upper is designed with a white leather construction with tonal textured leather overlays. Contrasting Fire Red detailing lines the overlays, heel counter, and interior lining. The piping that runs across the upper transitions from red to green, and the heel piece and "Nike" branding on the heel also appear in green. Release date: November 18, 2023
