The Air Jordan 1 Mid GS "Elephant Toe" is the youth sizing of the retro basketball shoe in a colorway that features the same iconic patterning found on the Air Jordan 3. Originally released in 1988, the Jordan 3 was the first-ever basketball shoe to feature elephant-inspired detailing on its design when it was introduced with the animal-esque patterning on its toe cap and heel. Here, the "Elephant Toe" uses the same print as the Jordan 3 to great success. The material in question is found on the toe cap and forefoot. Contrasting black suede appears on the perforated toe and mid-panel. Textured grey leather is located on the collar and on the heel. A white leather Swoosh appears on the sides and a black "Wings" logo resides on the collar.
