The Social Status x Air Jordan 6 "Black Cat" is a special edition of the iconic shoe in a luxe construction inspired by Michael Jordan's "Black Cat" nickname. The premium look was designed by North Carolina sneaker boutique Social Status and released during the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities in Charlotte. The Jordan 6 features a black faux fur upper with snakeskin texture on select panels as well as a premium leather lining. Purple accents are added for a nod to the Charlotte Hornets team colors. The design is appropriately finished with the traditional clear portions of the outsole and the original "Nike Air" branding embroidered on each heel. The Social Status x Air Jordan 6 "Black Cat" released on February 21, 2019.
