The Nike Air Force 1 Low "University Blue" is a colorway of the retro basketball shoe that looks to the popular "UNC" theme that originated on the Air Jordan 1 in 1985 for design inspiration. A Fall 2021 release by Nike, the "University Blue" is reminiscent of the brand's late '90s and early 2000s Air Force 1 and Dunk colorways that also appeared in "University Blue" or "Powder Blue." Here, the entire upper, including the perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel, appear in University Blue-colored leather. A crisp white leather Swoosh contrasts the look. Additional white leather can be found on the heel tab that features embroidered "Nike Air" and Swoosh branding in University Blue. Additional "Nike Air" detailing is printed in light blue on the white nylon tongue tag on the white nylon tongue. A white rubber sole completes the design.
