The Jordan 4 Retro PS "University Blue" is the preschool sizing of the colorway that salutes Michael's alma mater, the University of North Carolina. Released by Jordan Brand for spring 2021, the "University Blue" marks the first-ever Jordan 4 in a "UNC" makeup. The collegiate inspired look originally debuted on the Air Jordan 1 in 1985 and was later used on models like the Air Jordan 3 and Women's Air Jordan 1 Mid in 2020. A University Blue suede construction befits the look of the upper, save for the tonal mesh detailing found on the tongue and mid-panel. Elsewhere, black plastic lace holders appear on the throat and collar. The plastic "Wings" tabs display a decidedly "Cement" inspired look. The "Cement" design also graces the back of the shoe with black Jumpman branding and on the mudguard. Release date: April 28, 2021.
