The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE GS "Take Flight" is a special 3D graphic colorway of Michael Jordan's first signature shoe that was released exclusively in kids sizing. Inspired by the effects of 3D glasses, the "Take Flight" cuts a futuristic look, beginning with the design of the outer space-like leather overlays on the upper. The phrase "Take Flight" is inscribed within the Swoosh branding layered over the white leather mid-panel. A silver metallic "Wings" graphic appears on the collar and trippy three-dimensional Jumpman branding adorns the top of the white mesh tongue. In an interesting move, Jordan Brand prints "MJ23" text on the heel of the white midsole in reference to the team jersey number worn by "Money" during his basketball career.
