The Air Jordan 1 Mid GS "UNC to CHI" is the youth sizing of the colorway that shows love to Michael Jordan's college and professional basketball careers. The "UNC to CHI" theme debuted on the Air Jordan 1 High OG before it appeared on other Air Jordan models, including this Jordan 1 Mid. For this interpretation of the "UNC to Chicago" theme, Jordan Brand gives the colorway elephant print overlays inspired by the patterning seen on the Air Jordan 3. Blue Lightning-colored elephant print inspired by the North Carolina Tar Heels, Jordan's alma mater, appears on the toe while University Red elephant print inspired by the Chicago Bulls, Jordan's NBA team, is seen on the heel. White leather is found on the base. A Metallic Gold leather Swoosh and "Wings" logo give the shoe a championship-inspired look. Release date: June 24, 2023
