The Nike Air Ship "University Gold" is a new-for-2023 colorway of the retro basketball shoe that was notably worn by Michael Jordan during his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls. The Air Ship was originally released by Nike in 1984 and was worn by Jordan before switching to the Air Jordan 1. In the "University Gold" colorway, the shoe features a clean appearance with a white leather construction and University Gold accents. Specifically, yellow leather is found around the collar, on the leather Swoosh logo on the sides, and on the "Nike Air" and Swoosh branding on the tongue tag. Underfoot, a white midsole and University Gold rubber outsole complete the look.
