The Air Jordan 5 "Wings" is a special edition of the legendary silhouette featuring a graphic upper inspired by illustrations done by students at Little Black Pearl, which is a nonprofit cultural arts center serving Chicago's youth. The special details of the attention-garnering Air Jordan 5 don't stop at the all-over graphic print. The Jordan 5's signature details are also modified, with the lace toggle and mesh side panels altered into wing shapes. Both "winged" details also glow in the dark, while the model's traditional reflective tongue adds the final bit of flash. The Air Jordan 5 "Wings" promotes Jordan Brand's Wings program which helps youth around the world unlock their full potential through education.
