The Air Jordan 1 PE "Michigan" is a player exclusive colorway of Michael Jordan's first signature shoe given to faculty, staff, and players of the Michigan Wolverines football team. Jordan Brand is an official sponsor of the Wolverines, and as a result, the program has received numerous colorways in its signature colors. This luxurious take on the Air Jordan is undoubtedly one of the most exotic yet. Midnight Navy faux crocodile leather overlays appear on the forefoot, eyelets, and collar. Contrasting yellow pebbled leather can be found on the perforated toe, collar overlay, and heel. The Swoosh located on either side of the shoe is also finished off in the same Varsity Maize hue. Blue leather "Wings" insignia dots the previously mentioned overlay on the collar. The school's distinct "M" logo appears on the top of the navy blue nylon tongue.
