The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 "Louisville" is a collegiate colorway of the extremely comfortable running shoe for the Louisville Cardinals by adidas for its "NCAA Pack." Released by adidas ahead of the 2020 NCAA College Football season, the "Louisville" colorway salutes the school's football team and other successful sports teams. A lightweight and airy speckled black and white Primeknit material forms the base of the upper. Black mesh detailing can be found around the collar and heel. Adidas's signature Three Stripes branding appears in Cardinal Red on either side as a nod to the primary color of the Cardinals. Other overtures to the school include a removable patch of its angry Cardinal mascot on the right shoe and an "L" logo on the left shoe. Classic Ultra Boost detailing in red text appears on the black heel cup. Adidas keeps the stealthy appearance of the shoe intact by painting its responsive Boost cushioning technology in black.
