The Pharrell x Parley x adidas Ultra Boost "Black Future" is a three way collaboration between the Grammy Award winning music arts, the sustainable lifestyle brand, and adidas. A fall 2020 release, the "Black Future" is one of several colorways that honors Pharrell's Time Magazine essay, "We Deserve a Black Future." Adidas dresses the sock-like lifestyle shoe in a lightweight and breathable Primeknit material for endless versatility. The molded heel cup and plastic Three Stripes overlay that supports the lacing system are also dipped in black to progress the black monochromatic theme. Elsewhere, black speckled rope laces and grey "Hu" detailing on the black suede heel cup add a subtle contrast to the look. A black painted Boost cushioned midsole completes the look.
