The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu "Complexland'' was released exclusively during Complex's virtual event in December 2020. Formally known as ComplexCon, the annual streetwear event underwent a few modifications to accommodate safety protocols set in place by the pandemic in 2020. But that didn't stop adidas and the multifaceted creative from releasing a fresh new colorway of the latter's popular sneaker. The sock-like Primeknit upper and Boost midsole are finished off in what adidas calls Core Green. Both the heel tab with dual adidas and Pharrell branding as well as the reflective rope laces are dressed in a minty shade of green. Additionally, the TPU caging system that is anchored by midsole plugs that hold the laces in place is finished off in mint. The Vietnamese text embroidered onto the top of the shoe translate to "Humanity." Release date: December 7, 2020.
