The Women's Nike Cortez "World Make" is a women's-exclusive colorway of the retro running shoe with a premium look. The Cortez debuted back in 1972 as a performance running shoe before becoming a lifestyle option in the years since its original release. Here, the "World Make" colorway offers a casual take on the model with a Vachetta Tan leather construction. An ornate pattern is seen on the Swoosh logo, which is inspired by the terracotta architecture of Mexico. Classic "Nike" branding is debossed on the tongue and heel. A cork material appears on the insole of the shoe. Underfoot, tan accenting contrasts the look of the white foam midsole.
