The Air Jordan 6 "UNC" is a collegiate-inspired colorway of Michael Jordan's sixth signature shoe that nods to Jordan's alma mater, the North Carolina Tar Heels. Released in March 2022, the Jordan 6 "UNC" is yet another colorway from Jordan's signature shoe collection that employs the team uniform colors of the Tar Heels on its design, and it doesn't disappoint. The "UNC" mimics the color block of the Jordan 6's original "Carmine" colorway from 1991. The University Blue synthetic nubuck base gives way to contrasting white leather overlays on the shoe's upper. The neoprene lace shroud with black Jumpman branding appears in University Blue, as well. Additional baby blue accenting appears on the spoiler on the back of the shoe and on the tongue. An embroidered "Team Jordan" patch on the heel is inspired by product tags found on the bottom of basketball jerseys. Release date: March 5, 2022
