The New Balance 2002R "Wet Blue" is a mostly light blue colorway of the retro running shoe. This 2002R released for Spring 2023 features what New Balance is calling a "Wet Blue" colored mesh base while tonal suede overlays are found throughout the design. Contrasting white leather overlays appear on the toe and collar. Brown leather detailing is found on the back of the shoe. White leather "N" logos appear on each side while silver "2002R" branding is found on the lateral side of the collar. New Balance's N-ergy cushioning technology in the white foam midsole ensures a comfortable ride.
