The Nike LeBron 21 "Purple Rain" is the launch colorway of LeBron James's twenty-first signature shoe with Nike Basketball that doubles as an ode to legendary musician Prince. Nicknamed after Prince's iconic "Purple Rain" studio album while also inspired by the purple-and-yellow team uniform colors of James's NBA team, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Nike LeBron 21 of the same name features a Violet Dust-colored tumbled leather upper with Melon Tint accents on the Swoosh, middle eyestays, and heel. James's signature branding is seen on the tongue. A Purple Cosmos finish is applied to the Zoom Air cushioned heel portion of the midsole. Release date: October 14, 2023
