The Air Jordan 9 "UNC" is a 2019 retro of the classic ninth Michael Jordan signature shoe in a color scheme paying tribute to his college career at the University of North Carolina. The white leather, Midnight Navy upper with University Blue accents is actually reminiscent of the classic Air Jordan 9 Low "Pearl Blue" colorway from 2002. The vintage color scheme translates perfectly to the Air Jordan 9 Mid for this new "UNC" colorway, which fittingly released just before the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina.
