The New Balance 2002R "Sulfur Yellow" is a hard-to-miss colorway of the lifestyle shoe that balances modern footwear technology with heritage styling. The 2002R, ironically, debuted back in 2010, not 2002, when it was revealed in New Balance's 1000 collection of performance running shoes. The "Sulfur Yellow" is complete with a bright yellow mesh base with tonal leather overlays. Subtle bits of grey accenting come into play on the overlays on the forefoot and heel. A white "N" logo is found on either side. Elsewhere, "2002R" and "NB" branding appear on the collar and heel, respectively. ABZORB and ABZORB SBS cushioning in the midsole and heel of the shoe provide comfort for performance or casual wear.
